How the working days calculator works
Each day in the range from start to end date is checked individually — Saturday (day 6) and Sunday (day 0) are excluded, every other day is counted.
Worked example: Monday to the following Friday (5 calendar days later)
- Monday through Friday of the same week are all weekdays: 5 working days.
- Extending the same range by 2 more days to include the following Saturday and Sunday adds 0 additional working days, since both fall on the weekend — the working-day count only increases again once the next Monday is included.
